About

影像的來源是「此曾在」的事物狀態，它的表面真實性無庸置疑，但如文字一般，是面破碎的鏡子。影像來自事實，我們卻以為影像傳達了真實，可是真實依附脈絡才能存在，而脈絡在影像中總是被切斷的。這讓觀者感到焦慮（就算觀者不自覺），從而激發大腦的神經迴路，從自身記憶資料庫中去完成影像中的脈絡，在影像中察覺到自身的意識/潛意識。於是，真實和虛構的光線以一種無可迴避的方式在觀者，作者，和影像之間交互投射。 

泰戈爾說 ”Truth in her dress finds facts too tight; In fiction she moves with ease“。影像戴著事實的鐐銬，卻憑著虛構的靈魂而跳舞，而能自由。我的創作嘗試用現代詩的精神，去訴說那些原本在我們集體意識溝通外的「無可名狀」，讓觀者去經驗，去洞察：在每個人的眼裡，這世界都包含著一種詩意。

美國康乃爾大學電機碩士，普渡大學電機博士肄業，美國高通任職12年後回台．視丘攝影藝術學院畢業，現任視丘攝影藝術學院講師。
